Having been raised in a swiftly evolving urban setting, all the while conscientiously upholding our cultural traditions, I have developed a profound appreciation for the inherent wisdom and identity encapsulated within our folk rituals. Observing the intricate dynamics between modernity and tradition woven into our cultural fabric, my aim is to safeguard our heritage and skillfully incorporate it into the framework of contemporary urban living.

In China, Joss Paper is widely burned “to ensure that the spirit of the deceased has sufficient needs in paradise after death.”
Folding, Drawing, Igniting, Whispering, Remaining... Steps of burning joss paper are stipulated to guarantee the gift could be delivered to paradise.
Amidst the coiled edges and swirling smoke,
And the dancing flames that seem to evoke
A Fantasy beyond our grasp, yet ever near.

This is also the world created when burning joss paper.

Triangle Sha
There are some triangular spaces that have not been developed even in the most prosperous areas due to unfavorable Feng Shui.
From a Fengshui perspective, a road splitting in front of the house at a sharp angle forms what is known as the "Scissors Sha." People living in such a location may be more accident-prone. However, this positioning is considered auspicious for the "Gold" transition, which enhances the efficacy of burning joss paper.

Journey of Paper
Unspoken longing and whispered prayers,
Mingle with the incense and rise in layers,
The spirits of ancestors bless and protect
The living kids who strive to reconnect.

The Sign
Etched in the scorched etchings,
A vision of the future intertwined,
A happiness that, like the flames, does rise,
As they venerate those who've gone before.
